  • Just so we can understand what they are saying during our Mass. Many feel if you can’t understand them , we go to other places or they just don,t go at all. Some of our young people just don’t go at all because of that. Why do we have to have to have the priest from India ? It’s been a long time since we had a priest here that we don’t struggle to understand . Time for you to come and see what we think ?

    • Karleen, it’s important that the young people you mention understand that to not go to Mass on Sunday because they don’t understand the priest is a mortal sin, so not to go for this reason is insufficent. If they haven’t gone to confession to confess the sin of missing Mass for the reason you say and they go to another Sunday Mass and receive the Eucharist, they have committed another mortal sin by receiving Our Lord on top of the earlier mortal sin. They need to go to confession for this also. I hope this makes sense.
