Father John Riley, chancellor, announces the following appointments made by Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann, effective July 5:

Father Anthony Chendumalli, from providing sacramental assistance to the parishes of Sacred Heart in Sabetha, St. Augustine in Fidelity, and St. James, Wetmore, to parochial administrator of the parishes of Annunciation, Frankfort; St. Monica-St. Elizabeth, Blue Rapids; and St. Columbkille, Blaine.

*A priest of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales, MSFS, who will begin priestly ministry in the archdiocese in September, will be appointed as parochial administrator of the parishes of St. Joseph, Olpe, and St. Mary, Hartford.

    Just so we can understand what they are saying during our Mass. Many feel if you can’t understand them , we go to other places or they just don,t go at all. Some of our young people just don’t go at all because of that. Why do we have to have to have the priest from India ? It’s been a long time since we had a priest here that we don’t struggle to understand . Time for you to come and see what we think ?
